The 2023 Men’s Club Championship was played over the weekend of August 19th & 20th. The field was broken down into three flights. This event was the third leg of Championship Month. 15 Players participated in the Championship Flight which played 54 holes over two days. Flights 1 &2 Played 36 holes over the two days. Day 1 saw the course play tough with a breeze out of the southeast and wet conditions from the above average rainfall in July and first half of August. Will Morris played very consistent golf the first 27 holes shooting 37-37-37. Bryan McLennan was second and Rick Pryce was third after Day 1. Mclennan and Pryce had the only 2 9 hole rounds under par for the tournament. Day 2 saw Will continue his consistent form with rounds of 36-38-36 for a 54 hole total of 221. Bryan McLennan and Ron Lowe finished second 234, Rick Pryce was 4th 235, and Mike Pendleton rounded out the top five at 240. This is Will’s 5th Club Championship Title and makes him the Club’s only 5 time champ. Congratulations
