Thank you for your patience! We are excited that we will have the chance to open the pool this summer, officially opening on July 3rd. With that in mind, we will have some new and different protocols as set forth by the state and they are detailed below along with some pool basics. Please know that the health and safety of our members & staff is our first priority. All pool access will be by reservation only, the rules for reservations are listed below. With your cooperation and adherence to these guidelines, we believe we can safely utilize the pool facility and stay true in our commitment to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and give EVERYONE equal opportunity to use the facilities.
We are respectful of the directives provided by our government officials. We must all remain vigilant to adhering to the orders on social distancing and those for public gatherings. DO NOT come to the Club if any of the following apply.
Exhibit or experience symptoms of COVID-19
Received a positive test result for COVID-19
Had contact with someone who has received a positive test result for
COVID-19 or otherwise believed to be infected with COVID-19
Traveled to a high-risk area in the past 14 days.
We have considered numerous factors, but we must all remember the safety of our membership and staff is our priority. The SCC pool staff appreciate all of your support is looking forward to making your experience a great one.
Pool Basics :
Pool Hours: 12 noon – 6:45pm Monday-Sunday, weather permitting, please check the SCC WEBSITE DAILY REPORT for updates.
Please check in at the snack bar upon arrival to the pool
Pool complex capacity: 75 Members
Only 10 members at a time permitted in the Baby Pool enclosure.
At this time, no guests will be permitted, as we will have limited amount of space.
The Pool Bathroom/Changing rooms will be closed, except the restrooms. Per Connecticut guidelines, members should arrive in swimsuits and shower prior to arriving to the pool. Please note we will limit access to the restrooms to one individual at a time, unless from the same family.
No children under the age of 16 will be permitted without an adult present throughout their stay. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children adhere to all social distancing polices while at the pool.
Anyone who can not swim 25 yards of proper free style must have an adult family member pool side or in the water with them and must stay in the roped off area in the shallow end.
The State of CT and the Enfield Health District requires pools to be no more then 50% capacity, both in the pool and on the pool deck. There must be enough space for families to be socially distant from other families at all times. (6 feet between people in and out of the water). The Governor’s limit for outdoor gatherings does not apply. The pool furniture has been arranging to allow for social distancing. There are several different setups around the pool. Please select the set up that makes the most sense for your family. Please do not move the furniture. The layout has been specifically approved by the Health Department.
Mask are required for all members, except children under 2 are exempt with the following guidelines:
When entering or exiting the pool area
When interacting with a staff member
When using the snack bar
When using the bathrooms
Mask are not required when sitting in your family area. Mask are not to be worn in the pool. Parents are responsible to ensure the family members are adhering to the mask requirements.
The snack bar will be open for grab and go items (ice cream, chips, water, drinks)
In an effort to accommodate as many members as possible, we will require reservation to reserve a chair during the blocks of times listed below. Members may only block 1 session per day. However, if a time slot is available in other time slot you can carry over your stay but must leave the pool are while staff cleans and disinfect. In addition, members are not permitted to arrive prior to your session time.
12pm – 2:45pm Session 1, limited to 75 people
2:45pm-3:15 pm Closed for Cleaning and Sanitizing
3:15pm- 6:45pm Session 2, limited to 75 people
6:45pm -7:00pm Cleaning and Sanitizing
All members must leave the pool area between sessions for the State required disinfecting of chairs, tables, equipment, and Bathrooms.
NO SHARED TABLES among NON-FAMILY members.
Making a Reservation:
Reservations may be made at the following link, by opening a free account.
You must add all family members attending the pool during that time slot. If you only register one person and more family members show up, we cannot guarantee there will be spots.
PLEASE do not sign up and not show up as you will be taking away spots from another family.
