The final event of Championship Month concluded over Labor Day Weekend with the playing of the two day Member Member Championship. The event had its largest participation in several years and the competition was fierce. Day 1 saw some very good golf with four teams in the gross division shooting par or better. Day 1 leaders were Mike Pendleton & Bob Shea shot 4 under 68 and George Hermann & Mike Linsenbigler fired a 12 under 60 to lead the net division. Day 2 known as moving day saw some great team golf four more teams in the gross division were under par including the eventual champions Will Morris and Rick Pryce who carded a 10under 62 on day 2 to win the gross division by 4 shots with a two day total of 134. Ron Lowe & Colin Dowd came in second shooting 138. In the net division day 2 brought fireworks with Paul Davidson & Andy O’Shea registering 11 under par 61. Their score was dramatically helped by Paul Davidson shooting his age of 76. This is one of Golf’s cool accomplishments. Congratulations to Paul and his partner Andy O’Shea winning the net division with a 126. Day 1 Leaders George Hermann & Mike Linsenbigler were second with 127.
